Hello, I'm Chris McCarthy, a new full stack developer to the San Diego area.
I am currently a Web Developer Intern at Hours Logger, which is a start-up in San Diego.
At my internship with Hours Logger, I've been able to implement full-stack features such as strong password validations and update their invoicing functionality.
Through each of those experiences, I learned invaluable skills such as the importance of communication, the ability to work on a team, and staying focused on the task at hand.
While I’ve enjoyed my time in the service and studying finance, I realized how enthusiastic I was about computer science after one of my professors did a lecture on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Since then, I have been fascinated with the world of web development.
I seek to leverage these skills in a career as a software developer working for a financial tech company, agency, or a startup as a front end web developer.
